By jeep July 5-6 - Calcutta by air July 7-8-9 - Agra and the Taj Mahal, by air Stopped at Gaya, and flew over Benares Cantonment. July 10 - Agra to Kasganj. By rail. July 11 - Kathgodam to Ranikhet, United Provinces. By bus. July 11-24 - Ranikhet Rest Camp #7. July 17 - Naini Tal, United Provinces , By truck July 22 - Almora, United Provinces. By bus. July 25 - Kathgodam to Bareilly by RR. July 26 - Arrived in Agra at 530 a.m. and watched Orion and the sun both rise over old Fort Agra that a.m. Returned to Calcutta in one plane this date, and in another plane finally reached Shamshernagar again. October 3-4 - Weather Reconnaissance flight over the hump in a C54. Passed over Mandalay, Lashio, Szemao, Luliang,// and landed at Luliang and Kunming before return flight over Bhamo, Imphal, Sham. &nd landing at Calcutta and back to our Sham.base. October 17 - Arrived in Calcutta for TDY after closing base at Shamshernagar. November 3 - Arrived in Karachi by air from Calcutta on way back to States. In flight we passed over Agra, Jodpur and Jaipur.
