10 mi. east of Quartzsite, Yuma Co., Ariz. Feb. 28, 1934.
Two specimens taken on east facing slope of lava
hill on ridge covered with finely shattered rock,
a few large lava rocks on it, traps near
twelve, two other traps in same area untouched;
two taken, nos. 426 and 428, were within 25 ft. of
each other; vegetation occasional creosote, palo verde
and Encelia bushes.
