Allowed me to come within about 15 yds. before shifting perch; as I approached slowly would make one or more forage sallies, back to same perch or one farther on.. nearly died when pursuit given up. A Rock Wren on ground near flew into same bush, Shrike flew off but no connection between two. Lakes Well Pima Co., Ariz. Feb. 2, 1934 8:30 in morning one seen using creosote bushes north of well as forage posts. Collected first and only one seen
