Prairie falcon 7. Red tailed hawk 8. Brewer Sparrow 9. Sage Thrasher 10. Mourning Dove 11. Sage Hen. 12. Night hawk We left the camp near Vya about 2:30 P.M. July 22 & drove E past Massacre lakes to the Piute & Shoshone Indian Reservation. The country upto this point was though low hills covered with Artemesia & some sarcobatus. In some of the valleys could be seen green meadows shrikes were noticed at many places along the way. Two Golden Eagles were seen, perched on top of a rock at the summit of a low hill about 15 mi.
