July 3. W.C.RY I drove to a point 2 1/2 mi E of
Flanigan where I set out 60 traps
among the short Artemesia + Sarcobatus
which was growing in loose sand.
The exact locality as determined is
2 1/2 mi. E Flanigan, 4200 ft., Washoe Co., Nev.
all the traps were set at a distance
within 100 ft. of the road.
July 4
30 specimens were taken in
this set of which 11 were Dipodomys
cordii columbianus taken in the
more bushy areas, 1 Dipodomys
microps levipes, 5 Dipodomys
meriamii meriamii, 2 Peromyscus
maniculatus sonorienisis, taken
in the more sandy areas, 3 Onychomys
leucogaster
, 5 Microdipodops
sp.
, 3 Perognathus
longimembris.
The morning was spent in preparing specimens.

Yesterday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. E.R.Hall
+ I drove to a point 4 1/2 mi. S Flanigan, 4100 ft,
Washoe Co., Nev. There is a farm here
with running water. The purpose of the
trip was to set out gopher traps but only
two mounds were found. Traps were
set at these points. From this farm
