July 6 ½ mi. NW Flanigan, 4200 ft., Washoe Co., Nev.
1 specimen taken near rock ledge in
rat trap. Caught across the neck
yet dragged trap 50 feet from where
it was set. Fecal material abundant
around base of rock ledge & also
in pockets in the rock. Stomach
contents of plant material.
July 12 Rock ca., 6000 ft., Granite Mt, Washoe Co
Nev. 1 specimen taken from rock
pile at top of steep hill S of Camp.
"Callo" also seen on this pile + Porcupine
feces found among these rocks which
varied from 1 foot to 10 feet indiam-
eter.
July 20 ½ mi. N Vya, 6000 ft., Washoe Co., Nev.
1 specimen taken at base of rock rim atop steep hill W of camp. Sarcobatus
& Balsamhoriza were in abundance.
Trail of fecal material found at base
of rock ledge.
July 24 5 mi. S Quinn R. Crossing, 4100 ft., Humboldt
Co., Nev. 1 taken from rock pile on
hill E of road. Caught in mouse trap.
It dragged the trap over 40 ft. from where
it was set.
