The ground was somewhat sandy, but hard packed. It was caught in association with Peromyscus maniculatus July 12. Rock ca. 5000 ft., Granite Mt, Washoe Co, Nev. 6 specimens were taken on the rocky slope north of the stream. One was taken within 6 inches of the water. A ? had 6 em- bryos x 15 cm.
