Dipodomys ordii columbianus Engler 1986 July 4 2 mi. E Flanigan, 4200 ft., Washoe Co., Nev. Taken on low sandy hill covered with Artemesia + Sarcobatus. More of these taken than any other species in the same locality (93 1/3 % of total catch). July 15. Hansen, 4800 ft., Washoe Co., Nev. 3 Specimens taken. Soil, wind drift- able with Artemesia + Sarcobatus growing in it. Many tracks were seen around the trap. Cheek pouches of the 3 individuals were empty. Found in same habitat at this place, as Peromyscus maniculatus, Dipodomys m. lewipes + Microdipodops. July 21 10 mi. S Vya, 5800 ft., Washoe Co., Nev. 1 specimen taken. Cheek pouches empty.
