Soil, wind drift- able with Artemesia + Sarcobatus growing in it. Many tracks were seen around the trap. Cheek pouches of the 3 individuals were empty. Found in same habitat at this place, as Peromyscus maniculatus, Dipodomys m. lewipes + Microdipodops. July 21 10 mi. S Vya, 5800 ft., Washoe Co., Nev. 1 specimen taken. Cheek pouches empty.
