Edge 1934 Itinerary Camp. Visited got. traps in bog about 1 pm and took 7 Microtus put out ten more traps. Several of the Microtus has spoiled from exposure to the sun Took 2 mod Microtus at six pm when the location of a number of the traps were put out three gopher sets on the way to the bog. July 14 - Took up steel traps & gopher traps - nothing. Took up the 45 traps from the bog - 11 mammals - 2 P. maniculatus and 9 Microtus montanus. Made sketch of Microtus burrows and runways. Took photo of habitat and a typical runway - Moved Camp after lunch back down Cottonwood Canyon - to Station: Cottonwood Creek 7400 ft., Mt. Grant, Mineral Co., Nev. Set out in the evening 30 gout traps 4 rattles along and in rock slide just south of camp along creek up slope E of road and about 150 yds above S of Camp - Put out 1 gopher set in the little meadow at the top of the first slope - This camp is pretty well up in the canyon belt.
