Edge 1934 Itinerary June 27th 2 mi. SW Pine Grove, 7250 ft., Mineral Co. Nevada Left Berkeley Calif at 9 a.m. June 26, 1934 in three cars. Party seven persons: Brode, J. Stanley, Edge, Elton R., Hearths Dawson A., Hall C. Raymond, Johnson, David H. Palmer, Fletcher G., Russell, Ward C. Drove via Parquinez Bridge, Sacramento, Placerville, South and Lake Tahoe, Glenbrook, Parson City, Minden, Gardnerville to a point in the hills about 15 mi. S of Gardner ville where we slept beside the road. Left our overnight camp at 6 am. and drove via Wellington eastward along the West Walker River into Mason Valley, thence southward to a point 4 1/2 miles N. E. of Pine Grove, turned right and drove up a canyon past Pine Grove to camp site as given at head of page. Arrived here about 11:30 a.m. Started putting out traps about 4:30 p.m. beginning at a point up the canyon about two hundred yds above the camp and going in an easterly direction up a small canyon S. side - about returning to camp along the N side and over the top of the ridge. 40 goat sized mouse trap, and 3 rat traps were used.
