U.M.Diazdoz 1978 Basileuterus culicivorus El Jurol, 230 m., 19.5 km. NNE Encarnacion by road, Dpto. Itapúa, Paraguay. 16 September B9 (which I recorded further up Loop Trail, bearing it is the same bird I heard near the junction) and a bird singing above where the path crosses Banana Creek. I then walked back down the NW half of the Loop Trail to the Cross Country Trail, where I recorded B10 near the intersection of the path to the cornfield. When I continued walking on down Cross County Trail I heard a B.C. between B10 and Fern Creek, but I was unable to re-hear B10 to tell if this was a new bird. I heard two other birds which I did not record: the bird I've previously mentioned at the garbage dump, and the bird (also previously mentioned) at Lek # IV. Time: 08:30 - ≈ 12:00. While recording B7 I heard both B3 a probable B3 and the bird I've heard singing from the garbage dump. After I recorded B7 it flew off towards B3's area.
