This also consisted of songs interspersed with calls. About 14:00 I saw a leucomelas in the NW corner of Becker's forest. It was motionless and silent on a limb about 15' up in a tree in the middle of the forest. 9 September While at manakin lek # IV today, I saw at least one rufiventris (time: about 09:00) In the afternoon I saw a flock of approximately 8 turdids feeding on the small fruits of a tall tree on the SE side of the airstrip right above the Airstrip trail (16:20 to 16:50). I saw leucomelas, rufiventris and amauroschalenus in the flock. Also feeding in the same tree were Cacicus haemorrhous (a flock of about 8 which stayed for only a few minutes) and Tersina currirostris.
