U.M. Dzyadoviz 1978 El Juic, 230 m., 19.5 km. NNE Encarnacion by road, Dpto. Itapua, Paraguay. 14 September left the hotel. I took the Airstrip and Cross Country Trails to the cornfield, and walked down the lower road. There were some new-sounding vocalizations there, so I would like to go back there. I stayed on the lower road until 17:15, at which time I started on the Cross Country Trail and took the Loop and Middle Trails back to the hotel. I got back to the hotel at 18:00. While I was out this afternoon, the sky was overcast and the temperature was relatively cool. There was drizzling while I was in the cornfield and on the lower road. 15 September The weather today was warm, with a blue sky and scattered white clouds and no to slight winds. I left the hotel at, about 07:15 today and took the path from the ministere golf course to the Airstrip Trail. I walked down the Airstrip Trail and the path to the "cleared fields + house" area, recording Basileuterus culicivorus and Empidonax euleri and tagging the areas where I recorded the birds.
