U.M. Dziadacz 1978 El Inol, 230 m., 19.5 km. NNW Encarnacion by road, Dpto. Itapúa, Paraguay. 11 September went to Becker's forest via the airstrip. I walked around the NE portion of the forest, mainly looking for an Empidonax eulei which I had heard there before (I found it). I returned via pasture #2 and the airstrip and reached the hotel at 12:00. At 15:30 I took the airstrip to the tung orchard. I walked across the tung orchards and manioc fields and checked the cow field for Furnarius rufus and [illegible] cowsbirds (which weren't there). I then walked through the NW portion of Becker's forest and pasture #1. On the way back to the hotel I listened for birds along the road and airstrip and returned at 17:40. 12 September The weather today was similar to that of the past two days, only Today the wind was sometimes quite strong. At 07:40 I started out on the Bamboo Trail, concentrating on locating and re- cording all Empidonax eulei and Basileuterus culicivorus. I continued the same work on Middle Trail, and
