April 5 E. Side Bann Run Valley, elen. 15,000ft.
Nepal. A flock of about 15 of these
dark-colored partridges are seen
apparently feeding on the juniper
& low Rhododendron partially covered
slopes in a side gully to the Bann
Valley. There is some water flowing at
the gully bottom. As two birds are
shot off from this flock, the group flies
away with heavy dust rising lenta.
Unable to preserve the specimens.

Nepal. Sharpe Anthony says has shot
an adult male partridge somewhere
near Comp & a skin (W.W.D. 99.) is made of
this bird.
