(Camp II, cont) nearest rocks in the diversion. The animal was feeding are over a mile away. Later and of the members reported seeing a pla at this Camp two days ago (reliable information). May 23 - June 4 Camp III & above. Camp III is located at 21,500 ft. on the snow col; Camp IV at 22,500 ft. on a steep (45-50°) snow slope. No bird or mammal has ever been observed at either of these Camps during this 12 day stay or during the previous two visits to Camp III. June 4 Camp I. It is quite warm as we pass through this Camp on our way to Base, but no animal life is seen here.
