The canyon broadens out about a mile from camp and the creek forks, one coming in from the north the other from the east. I followed the east fork for 1/2 to 1 mile. The elevation is about 200 ft. higher than camp and the Pines and Juniper Gives way to Willows, Quaking Aspen, yellow Pine and fir. In most places the sage brush is dwarfed. Also some.
