W.B. Davis 1935, Superb, Minidoka Co., Idaho. Dec. 28. Drove out to the ranch where Henry Christensen lives) - about 1 1/2 mi. down the river from Minidoka saw on the S side of Snake River. He had caught two minks and several muskrats but had sold them. Said he would be willing to save the bodies of any other minks he gets and send them. Left shipping tags. He told me that he usually traps in the Tetow area in (Wyoming for Martens. He said that in Wyoming the practice of registering trap lines has been in vogue for several years. Last year he said he took over 50 martens for which he averages $10 each. He gave me the name of his brother-in-law Bill Kuebli, Clayton, Idaho who is trapping in the Sawtooth area near Stanley. He reported that martens were more numerous this year than they have been for years. Mr. Peterson Christensen said that he saw definite evidence of River Otter about a month ago along the river. I have no basis by which to judge his integrity, but he seems to be trustworthy.
