I measured and saved the skulls of 12 muskrates and one single large skull was collected which had been removed from the body. The bodies had been cleaned pretty well by the chickens so they could not be sexed. Drove to Albion and looked up Archie Lannabury. He was not at home, but I saw three coons, one coyote and one badger skins that he had taken south of Albion a few miles. Tried to see Carl Farley, but he was not at home. Drove then to Hawells Canyon to look up Bob Lannabury who is trapping there. He was not home. Saw the remains of a porcupine at his cabin and stumbled onto a set of his baited with a male Spilogale. I measured the body and cut off the head with the skin of same. While up here saw very few birds. Collected 2 Longtailed Chickadee, 1 Mt. Chickadee + 1 Leaf colored Bush Tit.
