W.B Davis 1935. Kaufman, Clark Co., Idaho. June 27. In the evening I drove to Berenice, vias Howe, and camped at the Ranch of a Mr. Bill Peterson, P.O. address - Howe, Idaho, who gave me some information concerning game. He reported Mt. Sheep in the Little Lost River and Lemhi mountains. He said that a few years ago he and Lee Twitchell, now with the B. & L. with headquarters at Bozello, killed three Mountain Lions in the canyon just N of his ranch. He reported these cats to be quite numerous in the mountainous area there. He said he had trapped Red Fox, Badger and Skunk near Berenice. Berenice is in Little Lost River Valley near the point where the valley widens out into the sink - here called
