W.B.Davis 1935. Arcos, Butte Co., Idaho, June 23. 413. June 16 I rode to Salt Lake to see my mother off to L.A., returning the same day. The only thing of interest was the finding of Citellus mollis at Strevell. This was a sight record only. June 17 was spent in packing specimens and getting ready to go out again. I left Rupert June 18 and drove to Raft River, about two miles down (south) from Snake River and hunted and trapped for gophers until about 5:00 P. M., and then drove on to Bonanza Bar — a camp on the south side of Snake River about 19 miles South west of American Falls — where I camped for the night. Raft River is merely a stream — at this point about 8' across — that flows through a broad valley which extends in a north south direction. Along the stream wild roses and willows are the dominant shrubs. A few plants cottonwoods are also found, but these are usually in the vicinity of dwellings.
