W.B.Davis 1935. 5 mi. SE Murphy, Cuyhee Co., Idaho, May 25, and a Sylvilagus nuttallii. The Iolmis Warbler was found in a Sarcobatus bush along an irrigation ditch; a most peculiar locality for this species it seems. The Horned Larks were paired and flying about the alfalfa fields. I found one nest with three eggs. It was placed in a depression in the ground under a spreading dandelion. Kneighrde (Arkansas), English Sparrow, Say Phoebe, Mourning Dove, Raven, Sage Sparrow and West Meadowlark were seen or heard at this locality today. I visited my gopher sets after they had been out about two hours. I started at the last set first and found nothing. The same was true of the next three. Out of the remaining seven sets I took 6 gophers (Thomomy Townsendii), three females and three males. Two of the males were huge and were breeding.
