57. White-faced Glassy Fly - four seen.
58. Audubon Warbler - one seen.
59. Western Lark Sparrow - few on S side of river.
60. Sparrow Hawk - one pair nesting,
61. Turkey Vulture - one seen.
62. Western Crow - two seen.
63. Sora Rail - one taken - several heard,
64. Virginia Rail - one taken.
65. Common Loon - one seen on the river.
66. Short-shinned Hawk - one seen.
Mammal list from 2 mi. E. Hagerman in both Twin Falls & Gooding Co., Idaho from May 17-20.
1. Microtus nanus - 2 taken, one on each side of river; apparently fairly common in hay fields; common name here is "mole".
2. Peromyscus maniculatus - found sparingly in sage + sand combination Four taken; 2 young discarded.
3. Neithrodontomys megatorus - Found in marsh on this (north) side and along ditch bank in dead + green grasses,
4. Mus musculus - Three taken; two on S side of river along a ditch bank, or N side near sheep corral.
5. Thomomys - found fairly common on both sides of the river; on the S side, along ditch banks mostly, on N side in alfalfa; all in sandy loam soil; 5 mammae on S side;
