W.B. Davis 1935. List of mammals from Salmon Creek, 8 mi. W Rogerson, Twin Falls Co., Idaho from May 13-16, 1. Coyote - Two heard. 2. Porcupine - sign in the canyon. 3. Peromyscus maniculatus - common in sage covered areas. 4. Peromyscus crinitus - common in rocky ledges and in the canyon. 5. Neotoma - Two taken and abundant sign on rocky outcropping of peak east of dam. 6. Perognathus parvus - few taken in rocky-sage combination on east side of creek. 7. Dipodomys ordii - fairly common in sandy sage and sandy-boulder combinations. 8. Marmota flaviventris - Found quite commonly in talus slopes of the canyon - and in one place in a rocky ledge + sandy loam banks combination. 9. Lynx rufus - one caught last winter by Mr. Molin - address Rogerson, Idaho. 10. Taxidea taxus - two trapped recently; I got skin of fore and hind foot of one taken about May 8
