Gold Hill, Jackson Co., Oregon - Grants Pass, Josephine Co.
muthatch (1), hairy woodpecker (1). Plain
titmouze (4), juncos everywhere, golden-
crowned sparrow, song sparrow, linnel,
meadowlark, scrub and Steller jays ,
Sparrow hawk, spotted towhee (abundant),
wren-tit, robin, western bluebird. Yester-
day saw 19 Valley Quail, 4+ American mergan-
sers. The weather has been cold all 3 days.
Snow flurry yesterday. High the 17th, 52°;
expeced high yesterday 50°, low night
of 17th 30° (side Astland radio station).
Today was sunny, no wind.
