Davis 946 Stins Varia 1 mi. E of Omltene, 7400 ft, Guerrero, Mex. July 22, 1946 Gizzard The stomach of #185-7 was crammed full of mammal hair + bones, about 50%, and beetles (Scarabidae + Chrysomelidae) about 50%. 1 bird feather was found. The mammal bones included 2 lower jaws, numerous limb bones, a few vertebrae, a few ribs, and some skull bones, all of a size approximating Leomysmus. Three white nematodes were present, from 1 to 2 inches in length. In addition, the feathers were flecking with Mallophaga to such an extent that while skinning the bird I had to stop every few moments and remove them from my hands. The ear openings contained several Hippobosids.
