Collected 1 Brown Cowhee. July 29, 1946 Hunted from 7:15 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Collected 4 Brown Cowhees, 1 Myiochanes flertius, and 1 Sialis mexicana. Saw several groups of Finches. Spinned in afternoon + part of evening, as we had several Mexican boys hunting for us, and they brought in 6 P. fuscus for which they were paid 1 peso = $.20 each. 2 were taken with a slingshot, + were in good shape, but the rest were taken with a 12 ga. shotgun shooting 4's + were pretty sad.
