Voted a food and beverage bar at the hotel next to the fountain.
Seen in the hotel lobby, I was told that it had been closed for two years. The restaurant was open now.
I went over to see if they were still serving it. They said no, but I could order a drink from the bar.
From the food & beverage manager, we learned that the hotel had been sold and turned into apartments.
The building is now an office tower with retail shops on the ground floor.
It's not clear what happened to the restaurant or if it was ever reopened.
We did find out that the hotel has a new name: The Grand Hotel.
A few weeks later, we received word that the hotel had closed down permanently.
It seems like the building was sold again and converted into residential units.
The area around the site is now quite developed with high-rise apartments and luxury condos.
There doesn't seem to be any trace of the old restaurant left behind.
