NE San Benito, Cameron Co., Texas a mixed flock of icterids in farmland at 10:15 am. Great-tailed Grackles +? 9 foraged in the rows dug for irrigation of vegetable crop while Red-eyed Cowbirds, Brown-headed Cowbirds and Redwings stayed on higher ground near the farmhouse. One T. tauravias gave a "hunch-back, neck ruffling" display even though no other birds were within a foot or more of him.
