May 29. see acc't of Panus inornatus (Steller &Scrub Jays) attracted to trapped mice - no harm done to mice in traps June 11. See acc't of Pipilo fuscus - lone jay attacked towhee fledgling repeatedly & was mobbed by 6 towhees. I noted a bob-tailed juvenile jay in oaks along road S of Strawberry Creek (S of Botanic Garden) at 8:55 a.m.
