N Kerrville, Kerr Co., Texas stock trail burned clearing cultivated (1) ♂ 551 taken in Spanish oak woodland 4:30 (2) lone male 10:40-11:05 arrow shows where fired at, 11:30 (3) area where song given in answer to (2) (4) point near junipers where ♂ 552, ♂ 553 taken ± 11:50 two other titmice believed to be in area - bird at (3) sang simultaneously ♂ 551 may or may not have been the bird which sang at 8:47 I left area about 12:50 (ten minutes before, I found song up stream ±50 yards from where I saw 8:00 birds.)
