Apr 29. Strawberry Canyon, Pasadena, Calif.
8:30 AM sunny. Saw Fox Squirrel in woodland on slope
of creek - oaks here form a continuous canopy which
would permit a squirrel to cover considerable area without
goin' down to ground. I do not recall having seen this squirrel
so far up the canyon before (one on slope S of pool, April, 1947)
