May 7 Strawberry Canyon, Alameda Co., Calif.
10:15 (sunny) pair of Orange-crowned in Willow-Bacchana along road below bridge S of Bot. Garden - I gave note tick sharp (song Sparrow-like). I apparently chasing her thru brush, displaying orange crown. 2 min later I on S bank giving tick tick tick and finally ti ti ti tick (rapid) in increased agitation at our presence.
