In planning a change of campsite we noted that Pines did not seem to grow much below 7000 ft. No juniper at this camp. We left Benton Station about 7:30 pm, driving North on U.S. Hwy 6 into Nevada. We took the first dirt road leading to the right (2.3 mi E of State line) after crossing the state line and followed this road about 3 miles up into the pines, arriving at a campsite at 8:00.
