Turkey Vulture - one flew overhead Black-throated Gray Warbler - common - singing in oaks; ?? also present. - sang throughout morning Bewick Wren - I called up a pair in woodland on sunny slope - area which I thought had sparse brush cover for this species - ? had sung rarely earlier. Purple Martin - overhead at irregular intervals. Tunics sp. - one singing at edge of clear strip indian; nothing further seen of him. Pygmy Nuthatch, - one noted in yellow pine Flammulated Screech Owl - one jumped in oak-juniper (#34B) See species account. Grace Warbler - next to Dendroica nigrescens in abundance.
