Adenostoma fasciculatum, A. sparsifolium, scrub oak, manzanita, juniper, yucca (2 sp) 12:00 noon (daylight saving time). Clear, sunny, breeze SSW from E. Heard the "bump" noise of bottom of dive of hummingbird coupled with "song" of this species. Bird not seen although dive was repeated several times.
