K Dixon 1947 Borasa umbellus July 30. Bridge Creek, 18mi NW Dillon, 7,500ft, Beaverhead Co, Mont. During this time. Bird dropped down to ground as I stepped forward; bird walked off on grass blades. Flushed [illegible] from root in same area at 7:45 PM - adult flew downslope in aspens about 25 yards. One immature approximately Lothotyps in size, flew to limb of pine, permitting me to approach within 10 ft before it flew. Adult gave clucking caw and another immature gave answering "peeps" as I left area.
