Davis 1957. 201 Tecoman, Colima, Mexico Nov. 12, 1957. Hail free. This was exactly the same sort of situation in which they were seen near Trancuillo on Oct. 31. The stomachs & guts of both were crammed with green seeds leav- ing a very sticky, gelatinous outer covering, possibly a mistletoe seed of some sort. Nov. 13, 1957. In a.m., returned to point 8 1/2 mi. NNE Tecoman, where Rhinocorhiza had been heard on Nov. 11. The song that we associated with that species on Nov. 11 was heard several times, but I never saw the bird making it. Collecting was slow, so moved to the locality 2 mi. E Armeria, at the Rio Armeria. Another Lecluch's Bunting was taken, also in brush at the edge of a clearing. The bird was occa- sionally shot while foraging on the ground beneath a thorny bush. Heard a Laughing Falcon, saw one Black- and- White Warbler, and noted as well Flake (6-8)" immature White-thrush flying up the river. One Warbling Vireo was seen. Nov. 14, 1957 Took a road SE of Tecoman, leading to the village of Cerode Ortega, which is about 1 mi. from the edge of the Rio Varayo, on the Colima-Michoacan border. The river bears another name at this point, but I cannot decipher it on our Mexican map of Colima. On the way, the road passed through agricultural country for about 12 miles, then through cattle country for the last 6 mi.
