Derney, J.S. 1942 Journal June 5. Summary of Two-weeks' Trip to Cedar Grove. Cedar Grove is situated on the southwest side of the South Fork of Kings River, at an elevation of 4600 feet. It is in the Transition zone. The dominant plants at Cedar Grove are the yellow pine, incense cedar, firs, black oak, cottonwoods,
