Trap on slope of granite boulder under manzanita, among "mt. misery" and fallen leaves and twigs. Pines and cedars in vicinity. June 2. West Fork Sheep Creek, 6500 ft., Fresno Co., Calif. (58). Junco shot by Harvey Fisher with his slingshot near trail some distance beyond Sheep Creek falls. In area where snow still lingers in shady spots, among pines, manzanita, chinquapin, and ceanothus.
