Do May, J.D. 1942 Junco oreganus Oregon junco May 30. Cedar Grove, S. Fork Kings R., 4600 ft., Fresno Co., Calif. (44). Junco caught in museum special trap set on S.-facing slope on N.E. side of river, about 100 yds. north of main road. Trap on slope of granite boulder under manzanita, among "mt. misery" and fallen leaves and twigs. Pines and cedars in vicinity. June 2. West Fork Sheep Creek, 6500 ft., Fresno Co., Calif. (58). Junco shot by Harvey Fisher with his slingshot near trail some distance beyond Sheep Creek falls. In area where snow still lingers in shady spots, among pines, manzanita, chinquapin, and ceanothus.
