Dorsum generally dull reddish-brown (1), head yellower (2); sides lighter, yellowish gray (3); a pattern of paravertebral black spots about 2mm India, followed by a yellow (4) dot; a dorsolateral, and a lateral series of similar black spots; yellowish (5) spots between the dorsolateral & lateral black spots, a yellowish (6) collar a scale wide, bordered with blackish anteriorly; a yellowish (7) line along lips thru ear to shoulder, black-bordered above. Throat white, diagonally barred (incompletely). (8) With brownish (9), belly yellowish (10), very narrow blue lateral belly patches most conspicuous near groin, tail yellower (11) beneath. Ivis bronzy, red.
