We also got a frog from the same smaller cave. DBW also saw a salamander in a caverna gelant, but the animal fell into the lava and disappeared. It moves rapidly like a Chirip. The entrance was narrow and the hole deep. One would have to dangle from a rope and lower to the bottom. We didn't chance it. We continued west on 120 [illegible] to an area of sinkholes where Jim Lynch and Steve Brazels had collected magnepias. We collected and explored this area for two-three hours.
