Danda, D. 1981 Journal Mexico Oct.27 We talked to a man who was extracting liquid and pulp from the agave plants to make the drink pulque (sp.). He knew of more sinkholes and we paid him 100 pesos to show us. He lead us to three nice deep sinkholes. Unfortunately, we had rope too thin to dance an exploration. These holes were mostly vertical and very deep. Number 1 seemed quite accessible with proper rope. We decided not to dance it with our thin rope. Number 2 was a little deeper, but still possible. Number 3 was very, very deep. We returned until a bit on Hwy. 85 and stopped to collect in a wooded area which were rocky and very steep.
