Oct. 24 were my thurs. Things were fairly wet.
Road to microwave station, 8-15.5 km. by rd.
S Las Vegas, Veracruz, Merrier, 3050-2775 m.
10 Chrysotriten chrysotenus - small, active,
non-descript, in logs, under bank, in banks.
10 Pseudoeurycea melanomolga - mostly small
ones, orange spots, in banks, one low
at 2775, many higher, found many were not
taken.
10 Pseudoeurycea depressa - in banks, in
rotter logs, many found not taken.
1 Pseudoeurycea sp. ? - large, lelli-like,
yellow spots, two large spots on top of
head, in bank under rock in muddy area.
1 Pseudoeurycea sp. ? - black, in log,
broke back, preserved.
1 Pseudoeurycula cylindria - taken found but
not taken, in banks.
4 Eumeces - in bank in loose rock
37 total (Did also got a couple of smaller.)
We left the area at ~ 4:00 p. intending to
walk areas down near La Joya, but we
encountered a very thick fog. It was so
bad that we could hardly see the car right
