Panda, D. 1981 Journal Mexico Oct. 20 tiled bathroom wall and mirror. It walked up with no problem. It appeared to feather its digits as it lay then down on the surface. The large animal appeared to not be able to do this on the mirror-wall (?). Turned in at ~11:30 P.. There was some light rain today. Oct. 21 Got up at ~7:15 A. for a pouring rain. It was raining too hard to do any work, so we took an extra long breakfast at Playa Azul. We left the hotel at ~10:30 A. We returned to Corgano where we had stopped the day before and tried to enlist kids to find salamanders. No one was out in the rain, and no no had any salamanders. We then continued on to Playa Escandida via the other forks in the road east of Catemaco. The road was in pretty decent shape. We stopped along the way and collected in a nursery. Within an hour, we had gotten 15 Bolit. refersse dry working banana plants. We continued on to Playa Escandida which is marked by a sign on the main road. [illegible] We checked
