Dada, D 1981 Journal Movies Oct. 17 No luck. We returned to the ford and drove ~ 13 km. up river toward Don Vicente Lachisio. At this point there is a large cave and several smaller ones. The river actually appears to emerge from the caves. This is just to the right of the main road as one is traveling upstream. The large cave is blocked at the entrance by steel doors, but Ted and I managed to squeeze thru a bent door corner. The cave was massive, I am no good at estimates, but I was very impressed. It was relatively dry near the mouth with increasing wetness as we walked back. We found no salamanders, but it was definitely worth the visit. We heard a few bats and saw a four millipede. Pseudotyrannus unitas supposedly were seen here at one time. Stan and Jim stayed here to wait and appear at dusk. Ted had collected these unitas in a sinkhole up this same road, but only after dusk.
