(4) No start data, but close by. We collected: Pseudoeurycea smithi - adults very cosmeido-like with large jaw muscle and prehensile tail, juveniles have orange spot on the black background color. Thoreus - small, Batrachopus-like. Two species - navoiades & Baricia - skunk-like lizard which is related to Baranata. We collected 31 Thoreus, 28 smithi, and 6 Baricia. Also saw about 50 juvenile smithi which we left. Returned to the hotel about 6:30 P. Ate supper on the plaza in downtown Oaxaca. Oct. 16 Up at 7:30 A. Ate breakfast at the Hotel Margarita. Spent 9:30 A. to 10:45 A. at Monte Alban, an archeological site just west of Oaxaca. Went to the airport at
