Dada, D. 1983 Journal 14 Dec. and my friends Bogos once again. (The car stopped again in Rio Frío! Green Oyede again to the rescue, this time with a new fuel pump) We went beyond the locality to see what the town of Ilamacao had in the way of lodging. Heaven! A government / grade run lodge with dormitory style beds, hot water, and a small restaurant - all for $300 pesos a night! We met some Canadians waiting to climb Coger and settled down for a good night's sleep in comfortable, warm beds. 15 Dec. Up ~ 8:00. Cold up here - ~38° F. We went to the yaguer locality and set 23 traps. Since we are in a park we feel nervous and are trying to [illegible] keep a low profile with the trapping. With the warning of "car!", Patty and I drop traps and instantly appear to be driving or taking photos. This will begin to look suspicious in a couple days. We returned for a bit later and breakfast and I discovered my duffle missing. Frick, and it's my birthday! It was either stolen or somebody mistakenly grabbed it with their equipment. The result
