Dada, D. 1983 Journal 12 Dec. just under the station. Charger was in a under log. The small blade are round to be mostly in rotted logs. Patty also found one Banaia indica under a log. I came across a Catalina in the more open, rocky area near the road. We stopped once on the way down to make a road lunch, and I got an P. defensa. We continued in toward Xalapa and stopped 3 km W of La Joya to make lunlunch. There were in oak trees in lawn similar to those in La Joya. We found 2 Chargers which appear to be larvae, and I believe are the first found outside of La Joya. We also got one green Almina from a bromeliad. It's then stopped at La Joya and got some birds interested in looking for salamanders (Iracemter) and lizards. We passed at Lago, promised pesos, and said we would return the next day. We then went into Xalapa and tried to locate Laura Brooke, a friend of Phil Brigiski's. We found her Jones, but she wasn't home. We checked into the Hotel Dolmace, had dinner, and went to bed.
