Dada, D. 1983 Journal 11 Dec. Zacapoxtla to Altotonga Up early, ~6:30 and headed north to work the road toward Tetela. We turned into the road and went several (~10) km. before finding the road impassable with the VW van. We turned around and worked a spot near the main road (1.1 km). This road W toward Tetela begins about 1km. S of the small town of Apalco. Stan Davies and I made it thru to Tetela from here dear last Augst. The road seems to have deteriorated and is wetter. Slide mud prevented our progress this time. Patty and I worked about 50 lronmelades near a stream and the road. We got two ardensis-like Chigros. In our first two ironmelads, There were large ones, 3 cutter section's high, and on a side drain extending over the road. After about 1/2 hrs we drove on to Apalco where we worked along a path behind what appears to be an old jail or monastery.
